Vineyards Switzerland, April

The south-facing slopes along Lake Geneva between Lausanne and Vevey-Montreux are lined ancient vineyards dating from Roman times. They produce mostly white wine from the chasselas grape. Pictured is a vineyard at Epesses near the larger village of Cully.
